My sister Rachel has always been a HUGE fan of watermelon. There are photos of her as a little girl sitting outside helping herself to a BIG slice of watermelon. This photos get brought up alot because of how adorable she looked chowing down all by herself; with watermelon all over her face & dripping from her chin. So me and my mother decided to take my bebe boy outside today to reenact Rachel's watermelon photos. He loved it, he looked like a little chipmunk with his cheeks full of watermelon. Such a yummy snack! We love you for the inspiration Rachel.

Happy Birthday to my Papaw

A big Happy Birthday to my papaw!  It was so wonderful to spend time with my family today. I know it touched my papaws heart to have so many generations there to celebrate with him. It was a Beautiful afternoon!! We love you Papaw.

So thankful me & my guys took a trip to my home town today to visit with my family. Brings back so many memories from childhood & my amazing grandmother, that I miss so dearly. So quiet and peaceful out on the farm. So many familiar faces I passed today; I knew them all from when I was a little tom-boy running around barefoot.  Memories were made in Quitman that I will hold in my heart forever. Makes me feel good to have that country side in me; I have to admit I enjoy being able to teach my husband a thing or two sometimes.
